Main responsibilities:

Lead process development and scale-up to support clinical trials, launch and commercial manufacturing of small molecule drug substances.Ensure scientific excellence and regulatory compliance in data generation, submissions, and lifecycle activities.Drive innovation and second-generation process development to enhance performance, sustainability, and supply continuity.Provide technical support to commercial manufacturing and ensure robustness in troubleshooting and strategic investments.Oversee technology transfers from R&D and external partners to industrial production sites.Manage resources, budgets, and cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic objectives and operational execution.Advance talent development and a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the development organization.Represent MSAT in site governance and global networks.

About you PhD or master's degree in chemical engineering, organic chemistry or related scientific field.Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical process development or MSAT.Demonstrated leadership in managing technical teams and cross-functional projects.Expertise in chemical process development, scale-up, technology transfer and manufacturing support.Solid understanding of small molecule manufacturing operations, GMP, CMC regulations, and HSE requirements.Strategic thinking with the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.Excellent communication, team leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Proven ability to drive innovation and promote a culture of scientific curiosity and continuous improvement.Track record of transformational leadership in matrixed organizationsExperience with flow chemistry methodologyEnglish: FluentFrench: Proficiency is a plus
