Job DescriptionAbout the Role:As Head of Metrology you lead and develop our newly established Vienna Metrology team to meet current and future needs. As part of the Site Engineering Leadership Team, you’ll drive technical solutions aligned with our global network, ensure compliance with GxP and legal standards, and represent the team in site meetings, global forums, and regulatory inspections.
How you will contribute: Build and lead a high-performing, well-organized Metrology teamDrive continuous improvement in alignment with local and global strategiesOversee daily calibration operations across the Vienna siteManage internal and external resources, budgets, compliance, and KPIs.Standardize and simplify calibration processesSupport and execute site shutdown activitiesIntroduce smart technologies into Metrology to become a leading position in the networkFoster collaboration across site entities and promote stakeholder engagementWhat you bring to Takeda: Proven leadership experience in a relevant management roleDegree in science, engineering, or chemical/biological fieldExperience in GMP manufacturing and regulatory inspectionsStrong background in the pharmaceutical industryExcellent change and people management skillsGeneral management experience including financial oversightProven track record in continuous improvementKnowledge of digitization trends and applications in MetrologyStrong technical expertise especially in MetrologyProficient in German and EnglishWhat we offer you:A competitive remuneration package with a minimum salary of € 4.686,11 gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry) - the actual salary offer is significantly higher and depends on your professional experience and qualifications.
