Your new role

As Head of Medical Affairs - Cardiometabolic Diseases you will have the unique opportunity to develop and maintain Medical Affairs strategy and support for local business plans across Finland.
Main responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining Medical Affairs action plan derived from Medical affairs strategy and in alignment with local business plans Productive relationships with key customers and relevant institutions in support of strategic objectives and new business opportunities Proactively evaluating local data gaps for Real-World Evidence projects and ISS applications and providing medical support for the local Clinical team in clinical trial activities People management of Medical Affairs team

Your skills & qualifications
We’re looking for a new Head of Medical Affairs who will enjoy working in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
You’ll bring with you:
MD degree and ideally a post graduate medical qualification Around 5 years’ experience in Medical Affairs or related roles Knowledge within the therapeutic areas of cardiology, cardiometabolic or endocrinology Proven track record of people management and interpersonal skills, coupled with a good sense of diplomacy; all to enable progress in a complex stakeholder landscape Self-drive and the ability to inspire your team and colleagues through ambitious targets, goal setting, clarity and rapid decision making Excellent communications skills to all levels and fluency in English and Finnish
