THE TEAM
Ticketmaster UK, part of Live Nation Entertainment is the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, ecommerce and artist management. The Ticketmaster Marketing team drives customer engagement via our Content, CRM and Performance Marketing channels, creating campaigns to retain existing fans, acquire new fans and ultimately drive sales.
THE JOB
We’re looking for a Head of Marketing – Theatre & Comedy, who is passionate about live entertainment to join the marketing team. Client relationships are paramount to this role and you will work with the wider marketing team and our Client Development team to develop these relationships. You will oversee all marketing for our Theatre & Comedy clients, helping to drive engagement and ultimately sales for these events. You will be leading on the Theatre & Comedy marketing strategy, including delivery of campaigns.
You will also manage a dedicated team of Marketing Managers who make up part of the wider team.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
+ Manage the development of our Theatre & Comedy marketing relationships, leading on discussions with clients to drive engagement and ultimately sales for their events.
+ Line management of the Marketing Managers – Theatre & Comedy team. This will include coaching, appraisals and professional development, and setting clear goals and expectations for the team.
+ Lead on the execution and delivery of the Theatre & Comedy marketing strategies with the Marketing Director – Clients & Campaigns to ensure marketing contribution targets are met
+ Manage budget for monthly digital ads campaigns and bi-annual out of home campaigns
+ Continue to grow both the Ticketmaster Theatre and Ticketmaster Comedy brands as leading destinations for their genres
+ Lead and manage marketing integration for software product as a key stakeholder in this project.
+ Working closely with the Client Development team to win new business including attending in-person meetings with clients
+ Develop new pitch decks and materials for Theatre & Comedy to help win new business
+ Lead on weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and insights for Theatre & Comedy via B2C marketing channels
+ Analyse marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations for areas of optimisation via client insight reports and dashboards.
+ Constantly review performances of our guides, identifying areas for improvement and creating innovative solutions
+ Lead team in absence of Marketing Director
+ Source and promote discounted tickets via marketing channels.
+ Work with our Performance Marketing, CRM and Content teams to drive engagement and sales of Theatre & Comedy events via our marketing channels.
+ Represent the company at meetings, pitches and events across all genres in the UK.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
+ Understanding of the Theatre & Comedy industry
+ Team leadership experience
+ Experience in delivering creative campaigns
+ Experience of delivering revenue growth
+ Consumer digital experience with big brands
+ Delivering exceptional customer experience
+ Experience in a similar marketing role
