A reputable pharmaceutical company based in Cairo is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Marketing to lead the marketing function and drive sustainable business growth. The role is responsible for setting the overall marketing strategy, managing the product portfolio, leading the marketing team, and ensuring strong market positioning across therapeutic areas.
The ideal candidate must have solid multinational pharmaceutical experience and a proven track record in strategic marketing leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives and growth targets.
Lead portfolio management, brand strategy, and lifecycle planning for pharmaceutical products.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer insights, and pricing strategies to identify opportunities.
Drive successful product launches and promotional campaigns.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution.
Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team to ensure high performance and capability building.
Manage marketing budgets and ensure optimal ROI.
Monitor KPIs including sales growth, profitability, and market share.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate governance standards.
Knowledge and ExperienceMinimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Minimum of 5 years as a Group Product Manager or Marketing Manager in a multinational pharmaceutical company (mandatory).
Proven experience in strategic planning, portfolio management, and product launches.
Strong understanding of the Egyptian pharmaceutical market dynamics.
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
Education and CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, or Science.
Marketing Diploma or MBA (preferred).
