The Role:

As the Head of Marketing for Italy, you will lead with purpose and drive the creation of brand strategic plans, seasonal strategies, GTM plans, and govern Italian investment strategy within one of our fastest-growing markets. As a key member of the country and EMEA marketing leadership team, you will ensure executional alignment with overall company initiatives and within EMEA and Global brand direction for the region, with the goal to grow brand awareness and build brand love in the region. You will build a consistent, distinct, and relevant HOKA brand image in Italy through integrated channel planning to actualize consumer-facing experiences, driving key categories forward and achieving sustainable and profitable market share growth across Italy.

Your Impact:

Building the brand in Italy, growing awareness and building brand loveDrive 360 amplification and plans of key sports and cultural moments in the Italian market, with a focus on MilanAdapt the regional marketing plan to ensure cultural relevance while maintaining alignment with strategic goals and objectivesLead trade marketing initiatives, ensuring in-store excellence, engaging activations, and encouraging try-onsBuild a strong community around the brand and reinforce key relationships in the region to drive the brand furtherDrive innovation in how we connect with consumers, elevating our brand positioningDrive commercial initiatives and manage key partnerships, agencies, and strategic retail accountsBuild marketing programs and campaigns to drive our DTC efforts in the region, both on e-comm and through retail with a focus on bringing the retail experience to lifeOversee the development and management of marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation across all channelsEvaluate and enhance the cross-category multichannel consumer experienceMentor and develop the local marketing team, optimizing team structure and resources to support business goalsEnsure strong cross-functional alignment in the market both across commercial teams and our EMEA marketing functionsConduct in-depth market research and gather local insights to inform and refine market strategiesCompile and synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing reports, tracking progress and developmentEnsure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained across all marketing activities

Proven marketing experience, including brand strategy and positioning, product launches, marketing plan execution, post-campaign analysis, and the use of innovative marketing tools and techniquesProven experience in developing and executing country-specific marketing strategies and plansProven experience of coaching, managing and leading teamsStrong knowledge of the country’s running category and cultureExperience working in the consumer lifestyle/sport/fashion sector is beneficialAbility to balance long-term strategic planning with day-to-day executionAbility to navigate a global organization and collaborate across multiple functionsWillingness to travel periodically within the local market, regionally, and globally
