Head of Marketing – Energy Drinks DACH (m/f/d)
Overview Position Overview We’re seeking a visionary marketing leader to spearhead the Energy Drinks category across the DACH region. This is a high-impact, senior role responsible for shaping and executing a multi-year growth strategy, driving brand equity, and unlocking the full potential of our Energy portfolio—including Rockstar and future innovations. As the largest international market for Rockstar outside the US, Germany plays a pivotal role in our global Energy agenda. You will lead the strategic direction, business planning, and execution of marketing initiatives, representing Germany in European and global taskforces, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding results. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Growth Define and lead the 1-3-5 year growth strategy for the Energy category, in alignment with global and regional priorities. Develop and implement robust business plans to accelerate brand performance and category expansion. Represent Germany in global Energy forums, contributing to international strategy and innovation. Brand Building & Portfolio Management Drive brand equity through compelling Must Win Battles, 360° campaigns, and behavioral growth strategies. Manage a dynamic portfolio, identifying and scaling blockbuster SKUs. Lead innovation pipeline from concept to launch, ensuring relevance and impact in the DACH market. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Commercialization, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Media, and Insights to ensure seamless execution. Own agency relationships across media, creative, and research, ensuring excellence in delivery and ROI. Performance & Execution Deliver AOP targets (Net Revenue, Volume, Profit) through strategic planning and flawless execution. Lead marketing budget and P&L management for assigned brands, driving efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor market dynamics, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and activation. Leadership & Capability Development Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of 3 direct reports. Champion a culture of growth, innovation, and collaboration within the DACH marketing team. Lead capability-building initiatives in partnership with HR and the Marketing Director. Governance & Compliance Ensure adherence to Global Control Standards and internal policies across all marketing processes. Qualifications Qualifications & Experience Technical Skills University degree or equivalent. 8–10 years of experience in marketing and commercial roles, ideally in FMCG or beverage industry. Proven track record in consumer insights, concept development, and innovation. Strong leadership and project management capabilities. Fluent in English; German is a plus. Personal Attributes Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and P&L understanding. Inspirational leader with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Agile and entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for innovation and results. Collaborative team player with cross-cultural sensitivity and a “make it happen” attitude.
