Join our dynamic team as the Head of Maintenance, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of LNG facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance activities in the oil and gas industry while working in the beautiful city of Milan, Italy. Role Overview Ensure safety of personnel, environmental protection, and technical integrity of equipment. Maintain good housekeeping of offices, workshops, storages, and site. Participate in near misses analyses, HAZOPs, technical reviews, risk assessments, safety audits, and incident analyses. Plan, direct, coordinate, and supervise all maintenance activities for subsea and LNG operations. Lead maintenance teams for preventive and corrective actions. Ensure quality control during maintenance activities. Provide guidance to the plant maintenance team in solving technical problems. Conduct root cause analysis of failures to improve reliability. Prepare manpower, material, contract, operating, and capital budgets. Propose Opex and Capex improvements to maximize financial results. Monitor budget and expenses, man-hours, spare parts, and consumable consumption. Coordinate maintenance department work with production and upstream operations. Supervise mid and long-term planning with Operations and Business. Review preventive maintenance plans and adjust frequencies as necessary. Ensure reporting of planned and unplanned interventions through CMMS. Review documentation, procedures, and safety manuals regularly. Validate and approve maintenance procedures for implementation. Manage employee development to maximize performance. Identify training needs and implement approved training programs. Set annual objectives for subordinates and conduct regular reviews. Perform end-of-year appraisals. Skills & Qualifications Excellent knowledge of oil & gas / LNG equipment maintenance, repair, and methods. Strong understanding of industrial gas turbines (GE Frame 7, Siemens SGT800), large rotating equipment (compressors, expanders, pumps), LNG loading arms, and hydraulics. Good knowledge of international instrumented safety systems standards. Familiarity with international electrical safety systems standards (including ATEX / Ex). Knowledge of international codes & standards. Proficient in maintenance SAP (CMIMS) and computer applications. Excellent command of written and spoken English. Education & Experience Qualifications: Master’s degree in Rotating/Mechanical, Instrumentation/Control or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with international standards.
