Sopra Steria is seeking a Head of Logistics to lead the development and delivery of our service offering. Working closely with stakeholders across UK defence organisations, this senior role combines strategic vision, commercial expertise, and innovative thinking to drive growth and excellence in logistics solutions.
You will take ownership of further developing the proposition and leading the execution of the Go-to-Market strategy for Sopra Steria’s Logistics and Engineering Support Services.
What you will be doing:
Define\r\n and execute the strategy for Sopra Steria’s Logistic and Engineering\r\n Support Service offering within the ADS sector, including budget\r\n management, roadmap planning, route to market, customer engagement,\r\n marketing initiatives, and revenue delivery.Lead\r\n the design of service propositions, with appropriate technical input,\r\n including pricing strategies, added-value services, and innovative\r\n approaches.Explore\r\n differentiated offers across Sopra Steria capabilities and partner\r\n networks, identifying opportunities for intellectual property development.Establish\r\n management information and performance measures to track success and\r\n support continuous improvement.Collaborate\r\n closely with the Strategic Sales team to ensure alignment with corporate\r\n growth objectives.What you will bring:
A\r\n strategic mindset with strong planning, organisational, and senior\r\n programme leadership skills.Knowledge\r\n of the UK Defence logistics marketplace, key suppliers of asset management\r\n and ERP systems.The\r\n ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels, including\r\n C-suite stakeholders, with credibility and gravitas.A\r\n collaborative leadership style and excellent interpersonal skills.Proven\r\n experience in building complex business cases with attention to quality,\r\n detail, and commercial outcomes.It would be great if you had:
