Scope:

An exciting opportunity exists at Access World Global for a Head of IT Programs. 

The Head of IT Programs role sits within  and will be reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer.

 The Head of IT Programs will manage a team who are responsible for resolving IT service issues, engineering and implementing complex IT projects, and maintaining and overseeing the technology of Access World Global. There will also be a need for coaching business analysts and engineers to resolutions. 

This role is a key position within the IT Group and will also be called upon to consult on and resolve the highest-level business and technology issues to ensure the highest levels of systems performance, availability and SLA’s.

This role oversees a diverse IT team with multiple functional disciplines/occupations and manages programs that have critical impact upon the business. 

Frequently influences and contributes to business decisions made by executive leadership. 

JOB OUTPUTS & REQUIREMENTS:
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer and working with fellow members of the IT Group, the responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•    Contribute to the implementation of overall IT solutions roadmap and strategy
•    Manage cross functional and regional teams such as business analysts, technology innovation, Program Management Office (PMO) desk and data analytics teams for project & IT service delivery
•    Engage in new/existing business project planning sessions to provide input and align to best practices
•    Ensure business SLA’s, deliverables and projects are met timeously
?    Retain and develop strong relationships with business stakeholders, both internal and external
?    Deliver strategic insight and industry intelligence to help the business achieve their objectives
?    Provide direction and communication to team on performance through regular team connects
?    Grow, mentor and upskill team members on functional, technical and management skills
?    Enable and empower team members to implement and execute a strategic vision
?    Effectively maintain awareness of the business strategy and company profitability
?    Ensure departmental expenditure is within budget
?    Drive cost management initiatives to reduce overall operating expenses and improve profitability
?    Manage office expenses and overall spend, within a defined budget




REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

?    Experience working with global, multi-country executives is an advantage
?    Leadership skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team with passion and energy
?    Analytical Thinking: Ability to collect and analyse information, problem-solve, and make decisions
?    Participate in the design of information and operational technology systems
?    Evaluate existing systems and provide strategic direction to IT support staff
?    Comfortable and capable in handling escalations from executive and related to IT service delivery
?    Experience in driving continuous technological improvement
?    Vendor and stakeholder relationship management
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

?    IT Diploma or Degree
?    10+ Years’ experience in Information Technology (at least 5 years in management)
?    Certification in Oracle Fusion Suite is an advantage
