Job TitleHead of IT Infrastructure & Operations, Emergency CareJob DescriptionHead of IT Infrastructure & Operations – Business Emergency Care (Home-Based)In late January we announced that Bridgefield Capital signed an agreement to acquire Philips’ Emergency Care business, which includes leading brands and products like HeartStart AEDs, Intrepid and DFM100 monitor defibrillators, Tempus monitor and Tempus ALS systems, and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions. We expect the transaction to close at the end of 2025. With Bridgefield’s support and building on our 40+ year legacy of growth and innovation in emergency medical technology, the Emergency Care business will continue passionately pursuing our mission of saving lives, lowering the cost of healthcare, and advancing the science of resuscitation while serving the public access AED, EMS, military, and hospital market segments.In this role you will play an integral role in being a technology leader that will build, optimize and secure enterprise IT infrastructure and operations to all business divisions of a dynamic and rapidly growing medical technology company. This role will report to the Chief Information Officer of the company.
Your role:Aligns IT infrastructure strategies with business objectives to ensure cohesive and effective operational outcomes, driving long-term vision and transformation in alignment with Philips' overall strategic goals and market trends. Champions continuous service improvement initiatives by fostering a culture of excellence and innovation, leveraging best practices and advanced technological solutions, driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.Authorizes key decisions on administrative and operational IT matters, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and overseeing compliance with internal policies and external regulations to maintain high standards of governance and ethical practice.Coaches and mentors senior IT professionals and team leaders, developing their skills and guiding them to achieve their full potential in delivering high-quality services, creating a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and knowledge sharing across teams.Drives daily management of in-scope delivery and operations, ensuring adherence to KPIs and continuous improvement of service quality and efficiency and monitoring operational performance, implementing corrective measures to address any deviations from set targets.Conducts risk assessments and define corrective actions to mitigate potential risks, ensuring smooth delivery of IT services and compliance with SLAs and OLAs, and developing robust risk management frameworks and continuously monitor for emerging threats to IT operations.Strategizes with the Platform Lead to plan, execute, and deliver on platform objectives across domains, ensuring timely and efficient project completion, collaborating with platform teams to develop and implement strategies that support scalable and sustainable IT solutions.
You're the right fit if:Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Business Administration, Operations, IT or equivalent.Minimum 8 years of experience in areas such as IT Operations, Digital Marketing, IT Infrastructure, Project Management, Campaign Management or equivalent.Advanced Lean certification (preferred)Self-motivated, with an ability to work under own initiative, often under time critical conditionsCan-do, problem-solving attitudeYou must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.Your experience includes medical device or heath technology industries, including compliance with FDA, ISO, and other regulatory requirements.You have prior experience of working closely with global business units in building compliant and efficient infrastructure solutions.Strong experience with digital transformation and change management initiatives.5+ years in a leadership role overseeing infrastructure and operations performance management.Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills.Strong understanding of IT infrastructure optimization models, designs and services.Expertise in global enterprise systems integration, scalability, and security.Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.You thrive in cross-functional teams and are comfortable operating within a global, matrixed organization.Vendor and contract management skills.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
