Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Head of Intermediary Operations resource for a top Financial firm out of Charlotte, NC. The Head of Intermediary Operations is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of intermediary relationship management with financial intermediaries including broker-dealers, RIAs, banks, and other financial institutions. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional service and aligns operational execution with regulatory and commercial objectives. They currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days a week in Charlotte, NC. There are 2 main aspects of this role where you will (1) hold the relationships with back offices financial institutions and (2) with the company’s own internal US distribution arm. This includes dealing with Portfolio Managers, large cash flows/transactions and also preparing Fund board reporting. This includes yearly bonuses and a competitive salary based on years of experience. The compensation ranges between $190,000-$220,000/year based on years of experience. Skills and Requirements - 15+ years of expertise in transfer agent operations, intermediary services, and distribution. - Experience managing an intermediary services/intermediary operations/back-office operations/mutual fund operations team within a mutual fund transfer agent or broker-dealer. Experience collaborating with back-office teams at intermediaries such as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo Clearing, UBS, Ameriprise, Fidelity/NFS, Charles Schwab, LPL, etc., or managing an operations unit within one of these broker-dealer back offices. - Working knowledge of DTCC mutual fund services (e.g., Fund/SERV, DCC&S, ACATS, Networking, MFPSII). - Excellent communication, negotiation, and critical thinking skills. Overseeing compliance and regulatory requirements in a back-office operation, including SEC Rule 22c-2, prospectus adherence, and intermediary oversight. Handling large trade monitoring and reporting and cash flow reporting. Participation in industry forums such as ICI. Strong knowledge of transfer agency systems, intermediary data feeds, and SS&C suite of products.
