Job Description

The Head of Human Resources for the US is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing HR Business Partner functions and Employee Relations.

Responsibilities

Lead the HR team: Manage and develop HR and Employee Relations leaders and make sure HR work is consistent globally but effective locally.

Advise upper executives: Act as a trusted coach to leaders, using data and experience to guide decisions about people, performance, and change.

Set people strategy: Align hiring, development, engagement, and performance programs with the business’s goals.

Drive culture and values: Champion company values, equity, and inclusion, and lead initiatives that improve employee experience.

Turn strategy into execution: Help leaders move from high‑level plans to real, measurable actions that improve results.

Lead change without authority: Influence leaders and teams to adopt new initiatives even when you’re not their direct manager.

Improve how HR works: Build scalable, practical HR processes that fit into everyday work.

Represent the company externally: Act as the face of the company’s people strategy with partners and professional groups.

Essential Skills

Proven and progressive HR experience in a leadership role.Undergraduate degree in a field related to human resources.Strong business acumen with an understanding of business drivers and financials.Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and engage with stakeholders in a matrixed organization.Open and engaging approach with the ability to build trust.Ability to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.Courage to speak up and lead conversations with care.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a similar position at a company with 1000-1500 employees.Strong decision-making skills and a dynamic leadership profile.Ability to influence and communicate transparently.Experience in human resources, leadership communication, and HR change management.

Work Environment

The desired primary work location is Wayne, PA, with consideration for candidates in Johnston, IA. The role requires 3 days per week onsite for the first three months, then 2 days per week. If local to Wayne, PA, there is a requirement for 10%-20% travel to Johnston, IA, and international travel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $202000.00 - $252000.00/yr.
