Role Summary We are seeking an experienced shared services professional to join Rivian Volkswagen Group Technologies (RVTech). This role is critical in maintaining financial and operational efficiency. You'll be responsible for key functions including accounts payable, travel & expense, payroll and process design/optimization. In addition, you will also closely collaborate with cross functional teams to manage the record keeping, operations, and compliance requirements.. You will play a vital part in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, upholding our commitment to financial precision and operational excellence. This role is located at our Belgrade Serbia office and reports directly to the CFO of RVTech. Responsibilities Oversee and execute on the global shared service center responsibilities including accounts payable, travel & expense, and payroll. Partner across functions including Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Reporting, and others to support accurate reporting and smooth operations. Collaborate with the Head of Accounting over the bookkeeping of international entities including financial close process, journal entries, account reconciliation. Coordinate with external service providers to ensure reports and documentation comply with local GAAP/IFRS and statutory reporting guidelines. Analyze existing processes and workflows and identify opportunities for automation, streamlining, and improved accuracy to drive efficiency and scalability. Provide support for the annual financial statement audit, as well as periodic internal audits. Ensure the success of statutory audits and compliance within respective local jurisdictions. Help lead the implementation of best practices to scale the team with the growth of the business. Support in the design and review of system implementation and optimization. Develop team members in growth and professional development. Prepare and review materials for internal and external reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis. Participate and/or lead special projects as the business identifies and requires and provide support for other ad hoc analyses and projects as needed. Qualifications 7+ years of high-growth industry, accounting/finance operations, and public accounting experience CPA/ACCA licensed with degree in accounting or related field Highly proficient in spoken and written English Familiarity with SAP or other similar ERP tools and related applications (Blackline, Concur) Proven experience in mature/public company reporting and SOX compliance Demonstrated ability to work on complex, cross-functional projects in a global corporate environment Continual improvement mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Equal Opportunity Rivian is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
