**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
+ 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
+ Experience in managing teams.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ MBA degree.
+ Experience with executive stakeholder management across Ads/Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales functions.
+ Understanding of Google’s product suite and its Ads/GTM/Sales organization.
+ Ability to understand and articulate the “big picture" to executive teams, while maintaining exceptional attention to execution details.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously that span Alphabet’s different divisions, using program management skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills to help large teams move with greater speed and efficiency to big outcomes.
**About the job**
The Product Strategy and Operations team exists to drive coordinated product and commercial decisions across the Ads ecosystem. As the leader of Beta Development (Beta Dev), this people manager role is responsible for ensuring Google is delivering the highest performing ads products to its advertisers.
In this role, you will oversee multiple experienced individual contributors who each incubate multiple Pilots, Alphas, and Betas each quarter. You should be able to influence product executives’ decision making, hold teams accountable for product performance outcomes, and help Google optimize its product testing funnel. You will closely partner with Ads, GTM, PSA, gTech, Finance, etc. leaders.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. **Responsibilities**
+ Manage Beta Dev, the team responsible for accelerating Global Business Organization's (GBO’s) product innovation, with clear quarterly incubation OKRs, plans, and goals.
+ Be GBO’s product incubation expert, working with AMER, APAC, and EMEA LCS teams to ensure their regions’ product needs are being met.
+ Lead time-sensitive product strategy projects for GBO by quickly understanding context and developing a prioritized scope and approach for resolution in ambiguous situations.
+ Work cross-functionally with Ads, GTM teams, GBO Product Finance, etc. to design and manage GBO’s product testing funnel.
+ Match and derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data analysis; communicate key findings to executive leadership with executive-ready presentations.
