About the Company

A fast-growing technology-led platform serving airlines with end-to-end crew and passenger accommodation solutions across India and international markets. The company operates a high-volume, transaction-heavy model with thousands of room-night invoices, a large vendor ecosystem, and increasing global exposure across MEA, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

Role Overview

The Head of Finance will lead the end-to-end finance function, combining strong operational control with strategic capabilities in international finance and M&A.

This role requires:

A deep operator (AR/AP, invoicing, working capital) A global finance leader (multi-entity, cross-border compliance) A strategic partner (M&A, expansion, investor readiness)

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations & Process Excellence

Build scalable systems for high-volume transaction accounting (room-night level) Ensure accurate and timely invoice generation aligned with airline approvals Design robust controls for: Revenue recognition (transaction-level) Contract-based billing (airline SLAs) Drive automation across Order → Billing → Collection workflows

2. Accounts Receivable (Global & Domestic)

Manage cross-border receivables, including: Forex exposure tracking Payment timelines across jurisdictions Reduce DSO and implement real-time receivables dashboards Handle dispute resolution with global airline partners

3. Accounts Payable & Vendor Ecosystem

Manage payouts across 300+ vendors (hotels, transport, international partners) Oversee: Multi-country vendor payments Currency considerations Drive vendor reconciliation and contract compliance Optimize working capital without disrupting operations

4. MIS, Reporting & Business Finance

Own global MIS and consolidated reporting across entities Provide insights on: Region-wise profitability (India vs International markets) Airline-wise and route-wise margins Support leadership with data-driven decision making

5. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

Manage complex global cash flows Optimize: Receivables vs payables across geographies Monitor: Forex risks Liquidity across entities Build treasury strategies for multi-currency operations

6. Systems, Automation & Scalability

Implement scalable ERP systems for multi-entity operations Drive automation in: Multi-country invoicing Reconciliation Consolidation reporting Ensure systems support rapid international expansion

7. Compliance, Audit & Governance

Ensure compliance across: India (GST, TDS, Companies Act) International jurisdictions Lead: Consolidated audits Transfer pricing documentation Build strong governance frameworks across entities  

8. International Finance & Multi-Entity Management

Manage finance operations across overseas entities / subsidiaries Ensure compliance with: Local tax regimes (VAT/GST equivalents) Transfer pricing norms Oversee: Intercompany transactions Cross-border cash movement and repatriation Work closely with local advisors in MEA, Europe, and SEA markets

9. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

Partner with leadership on: Market entry via acquisitions / JVs Strategic partnerships in global markets

10. Strategic Finance & Leadership

Act as a strategic partner to CEO/Board Support: Fundraising (domestic & global investors) Financial modeling for expansion Build and lead a globally capable finance team

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

15–22 years of experience Proven track record in: High-volume transaction environments International business finance / multi-entity structures Preferred industries: Travel / hospitality / airlines / OTA Logistics / e-commerce / mobility platforms

 

Core Skillsets

Strong expertise in: Accounts Receivable & Working Capital Management Cross-border finance and treasury Hands-on experience with: Multi-currency accounting Transfer pricing / intercompany structures Ability to balance operations + strategy

 

Qualifications

CA is strongly preferred MBA (Finance) is an added advantage
