Your journey to a meaningful career starts with ZF LIFETEC Your Tasks + Month-end reporting according to US-GAAP / IFRS. + Year-end reporting according to local GAAP. + Forecast, budget and SP Planning, P&L and Balance sheet. + Representation of the plant in Month end and Forecast calls and Budget and Strategic Plan meetings. + Consulting and review for CEA’s (Capital Expenditures) and approval. + Analysis and reporting of business processes and results. + Strong role as cost controller, spend avoidance and reduction. + Optimization of reporting and controlling processes. + Contact with local authorities in all financial / legal matters. + Responsible for internal controls at the plant for operations, sales and finance. + Analyze and accurately report current month’s financial results to the plant, sales, and corporate management in accordance with corporate format and time requirements. + Submit all financial transactions, transmissions, and reporting on a timely and accurate basis. + Ensure accuracy of the physical inventory and reported results. Investigate and explain book to physical adjustments. + Perform audits of bills of materials to ensure product costs are accurate and accounted for properly. + Report audit results monthly. Ensure timely and accurate input of bill of material and price code changes. + Ensure bill of material and costing accurately reflect production operations. + Attend daily plant production meetings. + Perform walkthroughs of the plant with the Plant Manager to discuss production and costing issues. + Review labor reporting and cost, material costs, manufacturing overhead, distribution cost, returns and inventory levels. + Conduct formal meetings with manufacturing, finance and sales management personnel to discuss all plant issues. Develop and publish a formal agenda and recap with actions to be taken. + Document and understand ERP/MRP systems, hardware, and reporting conventions and serve as the on-site IT expert. + Analyze potential excess and obsolete inventory items monthly. + Reconcile all inter-company accounts monthly. + Analyze internal controls to ensure assets are adequately safeguarded and results are accurately reported. + Assure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Policies. + Resolve questions of GAAP and internal controls with corporate financial management. + Assist in the completion of special projects. + Responsible for internal and external Financial statement and process audits + Sales Revenue + Accountable for human resource and budget planning for area of responsibility and ensure achievement. + Responsible for selection and professional development of subordinates and annual performance review. + Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives Your Profile + Fluent English + Economic skills + Leadership skills + Communication skills + Excellent analytical skills. + Knowledge of US-GAAP / IFRS / HGB + Oracle HFM, SAP FI/CO/PS and VW applications. + Required bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent related discipline + Master’s degree preferred + Required minimum 5- years in experience in Finance discipline; 8+ years preferred + Required minimum 3-years leadership experience + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities + Outstanding customer service, and continuous improvement are essential + Resilient and able to work under pressure to reach project goals + Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of the organization + Willingness to travel to different sites as needed + Very Good computer skills using MS Office + Strong Experience in Internal Controls + Ability to multi-task and set priorities + Experience in international business environment + Automotive experience preferred + The successful candidate must have high legal and ethical standards Our Benefits + Benefits above the law | Major Medical Expenses Insurance | Global growth opportunities | Competitive Wages Be part of our ZF Lifetec team as Head of Finance and apply now!
