Head of Experimental Medicine Data&Analysis/Line Manager/Experimental Medicine Japan D&A Gr. Position Overview • Line manager of Data & Analysis Group, which belongs to Experimental Medicine Japan responsible for early development. • Manage members of the group (Statistical Programmer, Data Manager). • Responsible for executing Statistical Analysis and Data Management, ensuring the quality of deliverables handled by the group, strategic resource allocation, evaluation and introduction of new systems, and compliance with relevant regulations, in collaboration with our global team. • Lead the data science field of our Japan/global teams and industry working groups, influencing the future direction of data science in our company and the pharmaceutical industry. Must-Have Requirements • Experience in PMDA submissions and approvals, as well as preparation of briefing documents and attendance at PMDA consultation meetings. • Experience in global development projects. • Advanced proficiency in at least two programming languages such as R, Python, and SAS. • Familiarity with relevant regulations of various regulatory authorities (including electronic data and biostatistics). • Familiarity with regulations and practices specific to development and application in Japan (including electronic data and biostatistics). • Master's degree in a related field such as mathematics, statistics, or information engineering, and over 10 years of experience in this field. • Over 5 years of management and leadership experience in departments, groups, or global cross-functional project teams. • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Japanese and English. • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and flexibly prioritize according to the situation. • Influence to encourage positive adaptation to change among executives, stakeholders, and staff.
