Role Overview
As Head of Execution Consulting APAC, you will play a leading role in the expansion of Equity Execution services, representing one of the leading agency equity single-stock and portfolio trading desks in the APAC region and globally.
The Head of Execution Consulting APAC is responsible for leading a team thatsupports the sales effort for equity products and services, and leads the development and delivery of Execution Consulting and Client Analytics services, such as TCA, Market Microstructure, and Best Execution reporting.
The role is a key client-facing position, where you will build relationships with clients on a daily basis to deliver consulting services and support the sales effort alongside Sales Traders, Business Development, and Senior Management.
This role reports to the APAC Head of Execution & Quantitative Services (EQS), who is tasked with developing and supporting a successful trading department, including a trading desk, strategies, TCA & analytics, resources, and processes that deliver financial results in alignment with our business objective.
Role Responsibilities
Execution Consulting & TCA
Lead meetings with Liquidnet clients/members to conduct TCA reviews and discuss the usage of Liquidnet products.Responsible for producing Global TCA reports for Asia clients across all Liquidnet products, including Negotiated, Algorithmic Trading and Execution Services.Ensure inbound member inquiries regarding execution performance for both negotiated and algorithmic trading activity are responded to by the Execution Consulting teamPartnering with other members of the EQS team and Equity Product to drive the development of Liquidnet’s TCA and data platform, including the addition of new Asia-specific trading benchmarks.Ensure there is a system and process for the periodic monitoring of execution quality.Generating Market Structure content to inform clients of regulatory changes affecting venue usage and how Liquidnet products can help clients navigate the market.Work with the Head of EQS APAC on strategic initiatives across the franchise.Equity Sales & Distribution
Work with Business Development to support upcoming sales meetings and sales campaigns.Partner with Traders to drive the usage of equities products through regular client engagement.Work with Marketing and other team members to drive the design and development of marketing materials for equity products and campaigns Ensure the team is able to provide relevant data and support materials to keep marketing materials up-to-date, including design and statistics on a quarterly basis or when a change is made to our process/products (whichever comes first).
Experience / Competences
Essential
Motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their responsibilities, with the ability to work autonomously.Experience in delivering Execution Consulting content to buyside clients.Deep understanding of Transaction Cost Analysis.Strong working knowledge of APAC Equity Market Structure.Experience with equity execution algorithms and algo wheels.Proven ability to work and interact with industry peers.Proven experience at managing people.Ability and ease of working with large datasets.Team-player who enjoys interacting with teams across a number of departments and geographies.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong numerical, analytical skills, with a solid understanding of statistics.Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BIMust possess or maintain the necessary licensing requirements (SFC Paper 1)Fluent in EnglishDesired
