Job description summary
This is a senior role, with a high proportion of business development, client engagement and insight creation, alongside a requirement for stakeholder, people and process management.
This role will suit a high achieving leader of people and ideas, to create and influence insights and strategies for our wide-ranging Hotels & Hospitality related businesses (Capital Markets, Value & Risk Advisory and Consulting teams).

The person we are seeking to lead our pan-EMEA Hotels & Hospitality Research & Strategy will have an unrivalled opportunity to help drive the research program that will successfully guide our clients into the future and to gain advantage from the new world order.
This role will report to the head of Living Research, EMEA, within the Capital Markets Research & Strategy team. The role will ideally be based in one of the core European markets (UK, France, Germany or the Netherlands).
What you will do:
Shaping, leading and executing a connected, holistic Hotels & Hospitality Research and Strategy offer across the EMEA region.Contributing to a market-leading data and insight programme to support business growthContribute to business development, revenue and strategic growth priorities through active engagement with clientsWorking closely with our market leading Hotels & Hospitality capital markets leads and teams at both a regional and country levelConnecting and collaborating with aligned teams and colleagues in AM, APAC and across EMEAIdentifying and analysing key trends; socio-economic, technological, sustainability and other key drivers of changeTracking Hotels & Hospitality investors to identify trends and commercial opportunitiesCollaborating on the development of insight & related research as part of an extended EMEA-wide Hotels & Hospitality research & strategy communityProviding and presenting analysis, strategic insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders and clientsManaging the research team’s targeted relationships with key EMEA clientsBeing an active global spokesperson for JLL, through traditional and new media and conference organisationsLeading on the creation of new & innovative research products and delivery methods that address client need and further differentiate JLLSound like you? A minimum of 10 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry; a recognised industry figureA deep and demonstrable understanding of Hotels & Hospitality or transferable experience from an alternate sector, with the ability to act as a subject matter expertA strong awareness of technology and its impact on people, space, place and capitalClear bias towards continued innovation, data and digitalStrong analytical mindset and skills, including financial analytics experienceAdvanced interpersonal, writing, presentation and communication skillsA self-starter with a proven track record in effectively setting and executing strategyPrior experience of successfully managing complex regional /global projectsStrong communicator and ability to manage senior stakeholdersAbility to inspire colleagues across the Global network, in generating ideas and deliverablesProven, wide-ranging experience of leading, managing and executing strategy mandates and client projectsA strong team playerWhat you can expect from us
