Head of Data and Analytics

What You'll Do

 

The Head of Data and Analytics will lead enterprise-wide data strategy, governance, and analytics execution. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Systems and Analytics, you will partner closely with business leaders, program executives, and technology teams to ensure that The Fedcap Group's (TFG) analytics function scales with its growth vision. In addition, they will oversee a distributed team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts, guiding the development of enterprise data platforms, standardized KPIs, and advanced analytics capabilities.


Your responsibilities will include:

Establishing Enterprise Analytics as a Core CapabilityLead the buildout of a centralized analytics function delivering actionable insights to corporate and program leaders.Standardize reporting frameworks and KPIs across all subsidiaries to measure back office, operational, and financial performance consistently.Delivering Enterprise Data ModernizationImplement and manage TFG’s enterprise data platform (Azure Data Factory, dbt, Snowflake, Power BI, Domo, Tableau).Enforce the Medallion Architecture for scalable, secure, and traceable data pipelines.Enabling Smarter, Faster Decision-MakingDevelop automated dashboards and real-time reporting for executives, managers, and program leads.Reduce reliance on manual reporting by delivering certified, reusable datasets.Strengthening Governance, Compliance, and Data SecurityPartner with Security and Compliance to ensure adherence to HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP and any other required standards or legal requirements.Drive enforcement of RBAC, encryption, data retention policies, and audit readiness.Fostering a Data-Informed CultureBuild training programs to elevate data literacy across the enterprise.Promote data transparency, accountability, and trust in enterprise reporting.Advancing Innovation in AnalyticsPilot and adopt advanced analytics capabilities including predictive modeling, AI-driven insights, and low-code/no-code data solutions.

 

You're a great fit for this role if you have:

Advanced degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).

Certifications in data governance, analytics, AI, or cloud platforms (Snowflake, Azure, Power BI) are a plus.

10+ years in data and analytics leadership roles, with at least 3 years managing enterprise-scale teams.

Proven track record building enterprise analytics platforms and delivering executive-level dashboards.

Experience with global, distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

Expertise in Azure Data Factory, dbt, Snowflake, Power BI, Domo, Tableau or similar.

Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, Medallion Architecture, RBAC, and compliance frameworks.

Advanced knowledge of data warehousing, modeling, and governance best practices.

Experience piloting and deploying AI/ML and predictive analytics solutions.

Strategic leader with excellent communication and change management skills.

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.

Strong vendor management, negotiation, and partnership-building capabilities.
