To be successful as the Head of Enterprise Cyber Partner & Defender Program, the ideal candidate will possess an exceptional blend of strategic leadership, deep cybersecurity expertise, and proven program build-out experience in complex enterprise environments.
Strategic Program Leadership: Extensive experience (15+ years) in designing, building, and leading large-scale, complex cybersecurity programs from conception to maturity within a global financial institution or similarly regulated industry.
Deep Cybersecurity Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of advanced cyber threats, attack methodologies, defensive strategies, threat intelligence lifecycle, and incident response frameworks. Ability to translate technical complexities into strategic implications for the business.
Executive Influence & Communication: Demonstrated ability to influence and engage effectively with C-suite executives, senior business leaders, and external government/industry stakeholders. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex strategic concepts and program value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of successfully driving collaboration and integration across diverse internal departments and external organizations to achieve shared objectives.
Organizational Design & Team Building: Experience in establishing new organizational structures, recruiting top-tier talent, and building high-performing teams to deliver critical enterprise capabilities.
Risk Management & Governance: Strong understanding of enterprise risk management principles, regulatory requirements, and the ability to integrate robust governance into new program initiatives.

**Establish a New Enterprise Program:** This role involves building a program from the ground up, requiring a leader with proven experience in program conceptualization, strategic planning, and successful execution at scale within a complex organizational structure.
**Drive Cross-Functional Integration:** The success of this program hinges on unprecedented levels of collaboration across diverse internal business groups and technology functions. A P6 is needed to navigate complex organizational dynamics, secure buy-in from senior executives (including LOB CEOs and functional heads), and align disparate stakeholders towards a unified cyber defense posture.
Forge Strategic External Partnerships: The role will be instrumental in initiating and formalizing relationships with critical external partners (e.g., FBI, Secret Service, industry consortia). This requires a leader with significant gravitas, diplomatic skills, and the ability to represent Wells Fargo at the highest levels of these external organizations to ensure actionable intelligence and collaborative defense strategies.
**Manage Enterprise-Level Risk:** The program directly contributes to reducing Wells Fargo's overall cyber risk profile by fostering a more robust, integrated, and proactive defense strategy. The P6 will operate with a deep understanding of enterprise risk management and ensure the program aligns with our firm's risk appetite and regulatory obligations.
**Required Qualifications:**
10+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
**Desired Qualifications:**
CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, or other relevant executive-level cybersecurity or program management certifications.
**Pay Range**
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
