Head of Creative Concept
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Head of Creative Concept to partner with Head of Creative and Agency to translate rational business strategies into highly effective creative concepts across the Guardian enterprise.
In this client-facing role, you will inspire and persuade stakeholders as well as lead and mentor our growing creative team of writers, art directors, designers, and video animator/editors.
You are a master art director or copywriter with a demonstrated ability to bring both art and copy together to deliver highly impactful creative concepts executed flawlessly across all channels.

8+ years of experience in a leadership role working in advertising, creative, and/or in-house agenciesStrong strategic and conceptual approach and the ability to generate compelling creative ideasThorough understanding of every step of the campaign creation process - from pre-pro to production to postStrong leadership skills to guide and inspire creative talent including writers, art directors, and designers.Ability to pitch and convince others of ideas through compelling presentations and negotiate to help meet the business and team’s needs on a project.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with different departments and stakeholders in a respectful and empathetic manner.Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a geographically dispersed team, managing both virtual and onsite team membersSalary Range:
$129,500.00 - $212,750.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
