What the day will look like
The Head of China Desk, Indonesia is responsible for driving new business growth, renewals, upsells, and cross-sells within assigned accounts, focusing on clients and partners engaged in China-related business in Indonesia. Reporting to Head of Indonesia, this role involves developing and driving sales strategies for Commercial Risk Solutions and Health Solutions, while ensuring top-tier client servicing, compliance with local regulations, and effective risk management.
Role & Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for generating China new business through networking, client referrals.
+ Manage and grow our new and expanded business for China Business in Indonesia.
+ Support Management in managing and growing our new and expanded business in Indonesia and to further develop the sales plans for your team.
+ Execute the sales process for Commercial Risk Solutions and Health Solutions to deliver new/new and expanded revenue growth.
+ Working closely with country, sub-regional and regional leaders and team to achieve the business goals and objectives.
+ Work together with all other units and ensure that business is placed and serviced accordingly within these units.
+ Additionally, ensuring proper client servicing and the effective management of risk processing, market communication and proper maintenance of business records.
+ Build and achieve the China Business Budget and Performance Score Card (PSC) objectives.
+ All aspects of Aon Indonesia’s operation meet compliance standard determined by Aon Policy and protocols and local regulations; always applying Aon values.
+ Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards is a key responsibility. This includes staying informed about new regulations and their potential impact on the business.
+ Prepare reports and documentation related to business development activities, client interactions, and market analysis.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
+ Strong experience and knowledge of risk risk management landscape with commercial acumen.
+ Native-level Chinese language skills required to liaise effectively with Chinese-speaking clients and partners.
+ Strong command of English (spoken and written).
+ Ability to build strong network within China Business in Indonesia.
+ Good communication analytical skills.
+ Thrives on challenges, rising above complexity.
+ Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across the Aon business and build relationships and influence at senior levels.
