WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As an Executive Director of Global Cash Management, you will be performing the role of Head of Channels.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

1. Lead team of Product Owners:

In GTB we manage multiple Cash Management Channels (i.e. our global platform Nexus), Host 2 Host, ERPs, TMS, APIs, etc. As Head of Channels you will be required to manage and lead a team of Product owners and product analysts, with accountability and oversight for the output of individual products / solutions which are part of the wider Channel strategy. Maintain key relationships across our global GTB network.

2, Product Strategy and Evolution:

As Head of Channels, you will have accountability for the full channel strategy to ensure we are positioned as a strategic solution partner for our clients. As well as management and oversight of product owners and analysts (and their output), the head of channels will also be part of the delivery team and ensure you are providing leadership and influencing the delivery of the components which make up the overall strategy.

This will also include participation, oversight, and accountability of the following:

Analyse and interpret key indicators (clients, market, regulation) in order to create innovative and highly functional products for the multiple client segments across the group which are served by GTB Cash.Client requirements: collaborate directly with our clients and client origination teams to understand the challenges our clients face in the different geographies where they operate, aggregating these needs – to create and develop solutions at a global level.Centralise ideas / concepts into coherent business and product strategies.

3. Product Design:

Oversee and lead Cash product strategy, design and innovation – leveraging knowledge from the market and other players. Apply / consider technology, innovation, and market trends in order to create / design new products for our existing and prospective clients. Experience / comfort with the application of one or all of the following themes, from a product development perspective: APIs, Blockchain / Digital Assets, Artificial intelligence, and platform-based products, Treasury Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, Kyriba) Experience with regulation as it relates to payments, capital treatment, etc.

4. Product Execution / Delivery:

Ability to oversee, lead and execute end 2 end new product delivery and organisation of a product suite – including but not limited to; strategy / sequencing ideation, business case, global strategy, funding request, book of work management (coordination, oversight with COO), new product approval (compliance and legal approach) oversight of execution and implementation, go to market strategy – with Origination teams, (GAO, RAO, LAO), B&CF teams, clients, geographies, and wider SCIB stakeholders.

5. Product Measurement and in-life performance:

Oversight and Management of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics; aggregating information / data to global level, and using it to drive decisions regarding product evolution, modification and capex requests.

6. Origination & Product collaboration:

Strong Collaboration with Origination teams (both Corporate and Financial institutions) Strong collaboration with other areas of SCIB, both within Transactional banking and other areas (such as Markets). Building and prioritization of product development pipeline Support with approach for clients (material, meetings, RFPs, events)

EXPERIENCE

Team Management / Leadership (3+ years)Product Owner / product management experience essential (5+ years in product role)Experience in field of banking / finance / technology essentialExperience in Corporate and investment banking products – advantage but not essentialExperience with platform business models, advantage but not essentialExperience / understanding of emerging and existing technologies: APIs, AI, Blockchain – a major advantage
