Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and leading transformative change? We are seeking a dynamic Head of Business Improvement to champion Lean methodologies, continuous improvement, and data-driven process optimization across TotalEnergies’ operations in Malaysia.

Activities

Your Impact

As a key member of the team, you will:

Lead and facilitate Lean initiatives such as Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and root-cause analysis to optimize end-to-end processes.Promote a culture of continuous improvement by coaching teams on Lean principles and standard work practices.Map, evaluate, and redesign business processes to improve flow, reduce lead time, and eliminate non value adding activities.Identify digitalization and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and collaborate with IT for implementation.Collect and analyze operational data to quantify inefficiencies and potential savings.Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor improvements and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.Create business cases to quantify ROI and track financial impact of improvement projects.Partner with stakeholders to co-create solutions and ensure alignment with corporate strategies.Lead improvement projects from scoping through implementation and sustainability using Lean methodology. What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:A Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).10+ years of experience in operational excellence, business transformation, or process improvement.Experience in automation, digital transformation, or workflow optimization (e.g., RPA).Proven success in delivering measurable cost savings and productivity improvements.Strong leadership and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives.Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
