Head of Beijing Innovation Center
**Job Responsibilities:** * Formulates and implements a long-term vision and strategy to maximize future business value, aligning with current and future customer needs, and contributes to cross-organizational innovation projects. * Oversees departmental capabilities, ensuring a long-term focus on necessary competences and knowledge for new technology introduction, while also overseeing resource allocation, technology, and architectural responsibilities. * Cultivates an engaged, innovative, and inspiring work environment by motivating, challenging, and coaching employees, fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and engagement. * Provides guidance and oversight to ensure exceptional project execution by continually enhancing project management practices, aiming to exceed customer expectations consistently. * Collaborates with relevant parties outside the department, formulating strategies/project proposals across departmental borders, establishing networks with scientific and business entities to gather input on technological advancements and trends. * Harnesses in-depth customer insights to drive informed decision-making and effective strategy implementation, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market dynamics. * Takes the lead in driving data-driven decision-making processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across operational functions, leveraging analytics and metrics to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement. * Plays a role in formulating parts of the product development policy and manages a software or hardware development group, integrating development processes with industrial, marketing, or purchasing processes. * Guides the development of systems/products and technology roadmap, optimizes competencies against product development projects and product creation process within organizational and market dynamics. * Leads succession planning and comprehensive talent management, driving employee selection, performance management, compensation management, and career development in alignment with organizational operational goals. **Minimum required Education:** Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Innovation, Business or equivalent. **Minimum required Experience:** Minimum 8 years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 6 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, Management, System Design, R&D or equivalent. **Minimum required Certification:** N/A **Preferred Education:** N/A **Preferred Experience:** N/A **Preferred Certification:** Lean Six Sigma or equivalent **Preferred Skills:** * Hardware Engineering * Operational Excellence Methodologies * Strategic Planning * Project Management * Budget Management * People Management * Product Development Lifecycle Management * Systems Engineering * Business Acumen * Configuration Management (CM) * Stakeholder Management * Operations Management * Change Management **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart.
