Head of Advisor Transitions | St. Petersburg, FL
This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds – flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be a minimum of 3 per week, averaging 12 days per month, at our **St. Petersburg, FL** Corporate Headquarters. **Key Mandate** + Scale operational throughput while improving advisor experience + Design and implement a capacity model aligned to recruiting growth targets + Standardize and segment service models based on transition complexity + Improve cycle times, first-time-right metrics, and risk controls + Elevate leadership bench strength and organizational performance + Partner closely with Private Client Group leadership and recruiting teams + Drive automation and process modernization initiatives **Ideal Candidate Profile** **Experience & Scope** + 15+ years of progressive leadership experience + Demonstrated success leading 100+ person operations organizations + Proven track record scaling high-volume, revenue-adjacent operations + Financial services experience strongly preferred (wealth management, custodian, clearing, brokerage, or large-scale onboarding environments) + Direct accountability for KPIs such as cycle time, throughput, error rates, and capacity planning **Core Competencies** **Enterprise-Scale Operator** + Deep experience with capacity modeling and workflow design + Drives standardization without sacrificing client experience + Uses data to manage performance and forecast demand **Commercial Fluency** + Understands advisor economics and recruiting dynamics + Aligns operational strategy with firm growth objectives + Credible partner to field and senior business leadership **Organizational Transformer** + Proven ability to upgrade leadership bench strength + Establishes clear performance expectations and accountability + Successfully reshaped and modernized large teams **Process & Technology Orientation** + Champions automation and digital enablement + Partners effectively with technology organizations + Simplifies legacy workflows **Leadership Traits** + Decisive and performance-oriented + High emotional intelligence + Comfortable managing cross-functional tension + Strong executive presence + Bias for action and simplification **Licenses/Certifications:** + **SIE required** or ability to obtain within 120 days (as required by FINRA), provided that an exemption or grandfathering cannot be applied. + **Series 99 required,** or ability to obtain within 120 days (as required by FINRA). Persons holding Series 6, 7, 17, 37 or 38 or those who hold principal-level registrations: Series 4, 9/10, 14, 16, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 51, and 53 would be qualified to register as an Operations Professional (Series 99) without passing the examination. + **Series 7** - Not required, but _highly preferred._
