T his role is a great opportunity to gain customer service and teamwork skills while serving the community at the Lenexa Rec Center Schedule: This position requires weekday, weekend, and holiday availability. Head guards are required to work 5 shifts per month at a minimum. Position Summary: The Head Lifeguard oversees the daily operation of the Lenexa Rec Center. This role is responsible for supervising and training lifeguards, ensuring safety protocols are followed, conducting maintenance checks, and maintaining accurate records. Minimum Qualifications: + Must be at least 17 years old with 2 years of lifeguard experience, including swim lesson instruction. + Must have current American Red Cross Lifeguard and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications. + Valid driver-s license and satisfactory credit history required. Starting rate of pay is $16.50 per hour with annual raises. Offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing a drug screen.
