St David's is a welcoming nursing home located in Ealing and known for its quality care. The facility features 76 bedrooms and offers a range of services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, rehabilitation, and provides respite and day care for individuals over the age of 18.

This role is for full time Head Housekeeper to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensuring that all records relating to housekeeping including cleaning schedules are completed dailyOrganising Domestic Staff with the daily duties which includes: -The vacuuming of rooms and corridors and emptying all waste binsCleaning the glass and mirrorsDustingSweeping and mopping floor surfacesCleaning the bathrooms and toilets, with particular attention to guidelines for the control of germs and infestationClean areas as assignedTo clean all allocated rooms including furniture, fittings, fabric, carpets and equipmentEnsure that rooms are odour freeTo be aware of the health and safety statement of the COSHH statementTo report any malfunction of equipment or fittings that require maintenance or cannot be kept to standard through normal cleaning proceduresTo report any cleaning materials that need replacing to the appropriate personKeep your cleaning area and space clean and tidy at all times and your cleaning materials safely storedTo deal with the waste bags and their prescribed disposalBe familiar with the required care standards regulations governing your job including infection control
