4 Year Degree The position of Head Field Hockey Coach at Vermont State University Castleton will report directly to the Director of Athletics. The coach will manage the daily operations of a NCAA Division III field hockey program under the guidelines established by Vermont State University, NCAA and the Little East Conference. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, practice and game preparation, the supervision of the assistant coaching staff, recruitment and retention of qualified student-athletes, overseeing the academic success and student-athlete welfare. Perform other administrative duties within the Athletics and Recreation Department as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in sports administration, recreation, physical education or other related field with a Master's Degree desirable, plus 2 to 4 years of relevant coaching experience.
