4 Year Degree Job Overview:The Head Coach of Women’s Lacrosse is responsible for the comprehensive organization and administration of the program, overseeing all aspects of the sport. This includes supervising and developing athletes through effective teaching of skills and strategies, leading recruitment efforts to attract top talent, and managing budget development and resource allocation. Additionally, the Head Coach schedules practices and competitions, ensures the maintenance and functionality of facilities and equipment, and engages in public relations and community outreach to foster strong relationships with alumni and local supporters. Above all, the Head Coach is committed to upholding NCAA policies and regulations while promoting a culture of excellence, integrity, and sportsmanship within the program.
Work-Related Knowledge:
Working knowledge of the NCAA rules and regulations. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. A passion for sports and a commitment to promoting collegiate athletics. Experience:
One to two years previous coaching experience and/or training and competitive background indicative of the ability to coach successfully in a NCAA Division III liberal arts college environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university. Licenses/Certifications
Valid Driver's License. (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered.)
