Head, Agency Partnerships, (E-Commerce) - Amazon Ads
Description Lead Amazon Ads' e-commerce agency partnership strategy and execution across India, focusing on developing and scaling relationships with e-commerce specialty agencies, marketplace consultants, and digital transformation partners. Drive adoption of Amazon's full-funnel advertising and e-commerce solutions through the agency ecosystem. Key job responsibilities Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute the e-commerce agency partnership strategy for Amazon Ads India • Build and maintain relationships with key e-commerce agencies, consultancies, and system integrators • Lead team of Agency Development Managers focused on e-commerce partnerships • Drive revenue growth through agency-led brand acquisition and optimization • Create specialized programs for agency capability development in e-commerce advertising • Establish frameworks for agency certification and excellence in Amazon e-commerce Strategic Leadership: • Design and implement agency partner programs specific to e-commerce capabilities • Develop co-marketing and co-selling initiatives with key agency partners • Create scalable models for agency success in Amazon advertising and e-commerce • Influence product development to address agency and brand needs • Lead executive engagement with agency leadership teams Business Development: • Identify and onboard strategic e-commerce agency partners • Develop revenue-sharing and incentive models • Create joint business plans with key agency partners • Drive adoption of new Amazon Ads products and features • Establish metrics and KPIs for agency success Basic Qualifications - Knowledge of the digital and search landscape - 5+ years of sales experience - Experience with and deep understanding of advertising technologies (i.e., ad server, DSP) - Required Qualifications: - 15+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital advertising, or related fields - Proven track record of building and scaling agency partnerships - Deep understanding of e-commerce operations and marketplace dynamics - Experience managing large teams and complex stakeholder relationships - Strong background in commercial negotiations and partnership development - Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred - Technical Knowledge Required: - Deep understanding of Amazon's advertising solutions - Knowledge of e-commerce operations and marketplace dynamics - Familiarity with retail media networks - Understanding of catalog management and optimization Preferred Qualifications - - The ideal candidate will combine deep e-commerce expertise with strong agency partnership experience and the ability to drive strategic initiatives at scale. - - They should have a proven track record of building and managing complex partnerships in the digital ecosystem.
