**Job Summary:**
Works under the direction of Contract Administrators and the Contracting Manager to collaborate with Category Managers, Value Analysis, and other internal and external partners for the contract management and sourcing of goods and services. Responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts and supporting organizational compliance, efficiency, and value in purchasing and service agreements. This position will support sourcing and contracting activities in assigned program lines.
**Job Functions:**
+ Work in collaboration with the Contract Administrator and Value Analysis on the execution of the desired sourcing strategy.
+ Provide customer service to internal customers related to contract compliance.
+ Demonstrate exceptional compliance communication to support customer and supplier activities.
+ GPO and supplier price file management.
+ Exclusive Acquisition Justification (EAJ) Processing/Tracking.
+ Contract Risk Assessment and monitoring reporting.
+ Perform required LBB Reporting tasks based on specified deadlines.
+ Support the management of supplier relationships, ensuring that UTMB’s business needs are met. Assist in coordinating business reviews under the direction of the Contract Administrator and Value Analysis.
+ Manage pricing agreements and pricing files.
+ Manage consignment agreements and files.
+ Review contracts for terms, changes, and/or enhancements.
+ Monitor contractors’ compliance in accordance with contractual requirements, including insurance and HUB requirements.
+ Provides effective record keeping, ensuring that all contract documents are readily assessable.
+ Assists in collecting information and prepares documents for review related to internal and external audit requests.
+ Setting up, maintaining, and completing tasks/activities in contract management systems.
+ Coordinate and assist in leading the purchase and contract negotiations, developing appropriate strategies and tactics to minimize institutional risks and achieve best value.
+ Issue purchase order releases and/or contract amendments consistent with the requirements of the agreement.
+ Monitor supplier and/or customer performance, as applicable, regarding compliance with contract requirements and Procurement policies and procedures.
+ Work closely with customers in problem resolution and consult with customers on problem prevention.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
+ Adhere to internal controls and reporting structure.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
+ Demonstrate good negotiation skills and understanding of negotiation strategies and tactics.
+ Demonstrate the ability to read, interpret, and apply legal theories and concepts to develop and negotiate purchase order/contract terms and conditions to minimize institutional risk.
+ Good technical writing skills and ability to write specifications.
+ Good organizational and project management skills.
+ Demonstrates the ability to proactively assist customers with their immediate and long-term needs.
+ Working knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code and special terms and conditions of the State of Texas.
+ Ability to be responsible, flexible, accountable, and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, adapt, and prioritize meeting deadlines.
+ Knowledge in the review and understanding of legal contracts, terms, and conditions
+ Demonstrates good customer service skills.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and lead meetings or conduct presentations.
+ Good overall knowledge of the acquisition process, policies, and procedures.
+ Good problem resolution skills.
+ Ability to work in a team-based environment, contribute ideas, participate in team decisions, and achieve team outcomes.
**Salary Range:**
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
**Schedule:**
Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and two years of related experience.

Compensation
+ **Hiring Range: $33.00 - $41.00**
