Job Description

The LINZESS HCP Marketing Manager will actively contribute to the design, development and execution of brand strategies and tactical initiatives that support the Linzess commercial plan.  This Marketing Manager will have a unique opportunity to work within a collaboration partnership and be responsible for strategic and tactical initiatives geared towards driving a competitive edge in the market and unlocking high growth channels.  

The LINZESS HCP Marketing Manager will actively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Sales Training, HCP CRM, Conference, and ISR strategies and tactical initiatives that support LINZESS HCP commercial objectives. The Marketing Manager will partner with key cross functional partners (marketing analytics and business intelligence, CE, clinical development, medical affairs, medical and regulatory review, OEC, and legal) to identify and use customer insights to develop stakeholder specific messaging across multiple channels. This individual will lead work with multiple agencies and manage a budget. 

Key Job Responsibilities for the LINZESS Marketing Manager position include but are not limited to:

Work effectively in a high paced, integrated brand team-based environmentWork with cross functional partners to deliver on brand messaging across multiple initiativesWork with cross functional partners to develop conference presence and LINZESS/VIBERZI deliverables associated with conferencesSet strategic direction for agencies and manage projects within time and budget parametersAssess market dynamics and competitive activities for the IBS market. Develop market shaping strategies, across channels and given competitive activityEstablish a highly effective collaborative working relationship with the GIC sales leadership team to ensure that field insights are heard and incorporated into marketing tactics as aligned to the consumer strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree3-5 years of biopharmaceutical or other equivalent (relevant) experience required (i.e., device, diagnostics, or CPG)Competency in core marketing capabilities such as translating insights into messages, creative development, and optimization across the marketing mixProven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, including timeline and budget managementAbility to understand medical/clinical aspects of a pharmaceutical product and its application to marketing strategy and tactical executionSuccess working in a matrixed organization to drive alignment to brand objectivesExperience leading or supporting strategic and tactical planningStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

MBA3-5 years of marketing (brand or product management) experienceExperience working with and managing multiple external agencies including advertising, digital, and internal cross functional partners.Proven connectivity to field sales force; alignment to communications

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
