Hardware Verification Engineer

Our team has delivered two generations of Azure Boost (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j\_X-oM4j3YE) and we are now looking for talented hardware design and verification engineers to join our team, developing Azure’s next generation networking devices.  Microsoft’s innovative approach for hardware/software co-design leverages the flexibility and parallelism delivered by hardware to offload and accelerate many types of computations and functions of the Azure network. Our vertical work environment includes developing and deploying hardware, software drivers, and end to end features, and interaction with large software teams on important customer-facing applications. Azure’s unparalleled scale places a specific emphasis on quality and hardware verification. When we deliver hardware features into the cloud – we make sure they work well by testing them through multiple levels of verification, at unit level, full chip, and hardware validation. We cannot do this without a strong, professional verification team. We are opening positions for entry level engineers to join the team and build advanced hardware/software acceleration solutions for some of the world’s largest datacenter networks. This is a great opportunity to join a team that has built some of the largest scale cloud systems ever deployed and learn from the very best. **Responsibilities** + Develop verification environment for units and fully integrated devices, based on deep understanding of customer requirements, DUT functionality, and system architecture. + Design and implement Verification IP, test benches, and verification infrastructure in SystemVerilog/UVM. + Develop and execute test plans and coverage plans, to reach cloud-scale quality. + Work with hardware-based validation platforms, as part of the verification and validation flow. + Collaborate closely with hardware and software teams. + Deliver the product into cloud production environments and support it through its lifetime. **Qualifications** Required Qualifications: + BSc/MSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar field + A versatile can-do, problem-solving attitude, and desire to handle a wide array of challenges.  + Excellent communication skills in English Preffered Qualifications: + 1-2 years of experience in verification of ASIC designs or Logic design + Good understanding of Software concepts such as Object Oriented Programming (OOP)  This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
