Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

Join our global Production Test Engineering team within Cross‑Domain Computing Solutions (XC) at our Braga development location and help shape the future of mobility electronics.Contribute your ideas to develop processes, methods, and test solutions across acquisition, industrialization, and series production.Collect, manage, and review test requirements in close collaboration with hardware, software, system development, and production teams.Develop manufacturing test concepts for innovative electronic products.Create and implement production test and alignment specifications.Commission test specifications in our manufacturing plants and support their successful rollout.Perform test coverage analyses and continuously refine test strategies.Improve existing test methods with a focus on coverage, cycle time, and cost efficiency.Support global manufacturing locations in troubleshooting technical issues.Work closely with product teams and test automation experts to advance test methodologies.Collaborate with international colleagues across multiple manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education

Degree in Electronic Engineering or a comparable technical field.

Experience

Experience in analog and digital electronics design or analysis.Background in electronics testing; experience with RADAR testing is an advantage.Experience in planning and leading test development activities and factory deployments.

Know‑how

Solid understanding of hardware test concepts and production test systems.Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with a structured approach.Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics, including circuit behavior, components, and schematic interpretation.Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers.Experience with test automation using tools like Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar.Ability to work with debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, in‑circuit programmers).

Languages

Very good English skills, both written and spoken.

Proactive, organized, and able to coordinate cross‑functional activities.Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment.
