Description Our healthcare client is seeking one Desktop Field Technician to support their Epic hardware readiness project in preparation for the upcoming EMR transition at their South Nassau Hospital location. The hospital will be migrating to Epic in November 2025 to align with the broader EMR system used across the organization. This technician will play a key role in the deployment phase, supporting a wide range of hardware-related tasks including: + Swapping and deploying monitors, desktops, laptops, and tablets + Imaging and configuring machines + Deploying and testing printers and scanners + Verifying system functionality and resolving login issues + Escalating unresolved technical issues to the appropriate internal teams The role requires close coordination with the project team, including project managers, fellow technicians, clinical practices, and internal Epic, Desktop, and Network Infrastructure teams. The technician will also be responsible for updating the asset inventory tracker with machine and user information. Deployment is expected to conclude by the end of September 2025, with the possibility of extension based on project needs. Requirements: + Must have a personal vehicle + Work will be conducted across multiple locations, including South Nassau Hospital in Oceanside, a large facility in Hicksville, and 28–30 remote sites throughout Nassau County. These include Baldwin, Freeport, Merrick, Valley Stream, Oceanside, Bellmore, Levittown, Huntington Station, Hewlett, Long Beach, Lynbrook, Rockville Centre, and Hempstead Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
