CACI's Mastodon Design is looking to hire a Hardware Engineering Manager in Rochester, NY. This organization specializes in designing and building hardware and software to meet our customers’ next requirement.

Our expertise allows us to rapidly provide these solutions in specialized electronic/mechanical design, embedded & application-level software, reverse engineering & protocol analysis, and RF signals exploitation and communications systems.
Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and professional development support to team of electrical engineersManage hardware PCB and PCBA design and release schedules across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring milestones, risks, and issues are tracked and actionedEnsure engineering projects are properly resourced with the right staff and equipmentReport and communicate project status across teams and to senior managementGuide growth and quality of department by implementing and maintaining policies and proceduresTrack and create plans to resolve obsolescence issuesProvide input and support to business finance with project cost estimates and budget reviewWork across the business to successfully deliver against development prioritiesProvide documentation of work and analysis in formal technical reports and presentationsQualifications:
BS in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or related degreeMinimum management work experience of 3 yearsMinimum electrical engineering work experience of 8 yearsTeam focused mentality with strong leadership skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills with both direct reports and across engineering and management teamsIn depth knowledge of analog and digital design concepts, filters, oscillators, and power circuitsFamiliar with PLM tools and ECO/ECR processThere is no clearance requirement to begin employment. As a requirement of continued employment you will be required to obtain Secret and/or higher level clearance.Additional Desired Qualifications:
Broad knowledge of RF signals, input/output interfaces, and wireless communication technologies, Mechanical Engineering principlesExperience in circuit board design, fabrication, and assemblyExperience in analog circuit, RF, digital, and power amplifier designExperience in product release, test, and manufacturing-________________________________________________________________________________________

The proposed salary range for this position is:
