Job Description

We are looking for a pragmatic engineer required to handle hardware design projects within a multinational, project management focused design team. The Hardware Engineer will be responsible for the implementation of designs and solutions for power and control panel assembly. You will report to the Engineering Team Lead and will have a hybrid schedule working in Gdańsk, Poland.

Your Responsibilities:Electrical design of power and control circuits;Preparation of wiring diagrams, panel layouts and complete project design documentation for manufacturing purposesCable and component specification, sizing, selection and associated design;Preparation of assembly instructions and work packs;Creating bills of materials in advance of procurement and manufacture;Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial plants (up to 10%);Must be able to work in a flexible environment where timescales and project plans are required to be met.

The Essentials - You Will Have:Education: Bachelor's degree in an electrical engineering discipline or equivalent knowledge;3+ years of experience in electrical hardware engineering design in industrial automation;Applicant should independent, able to work through problems, and make decisions with minimal guidance;Proficiency in Eplan P8 and AutoCAD to create detailed wiring diagrams and panel layouts;Familiarization with IEC harmonized standards under Machinery and Low Voltage Directives and their design requirements;Knowledge of safety circuits, safety-related parts of a control system and design requirements,Proficiency in utilizing MS excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), MS Visio, MS SharePoint, MS Teams;Professional English communication skill level (both verbal and written).

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:Experience with Rockwell Automation hardware (e.g., ControlLogix, PowerFlex).Familiarity with UL508A; ATEXKnowledge of FactoryTalk or EtherNet/IP.Knowledge of SISTEMA software to evaluate safety in context of ISO 13849-1
