Hardware Engineer
Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Product Development | Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid)

Job Description

Work independently to design hardware and perform circuit design for new product development projects. Test designs for EMC and conduct root cause analysis. Collaborate with suppliers who provide microcontrollers. This position involves 85% hardware design for new products, 5% modifying C code, and 10% doing PCB design and layout in Altium. This is a long-term position requiring onsite work 3-4 days per week in downtown Milwaukee, with some work involving designs for 120-230 volts.

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of innovative hardware solutions for next-generation products and systems.

What You’ll Do:Design and develop analog and digital circuits for embedded systems and power electronics.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to production.Create schematics, select components, and support PCB layout and testing.Participate in product validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts.Support compliance testing and documentation for regulatory approvals.What We’re Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.3+ years of experience in circuit design, hardware development, and product lifecycle engineering.Proficiency with tools like Altium, OrCAD, or similar for schematic capture and PCB layout.Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and power supply design.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Why Apply:Be part of a global engineering team driving innovation in industrial technology.Work in a hybrid environment with a collaborative and supportive culture.Contribute to products that are used worldwide in aerospace, energy, and manufacturing sectors.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr.
