Who knows where our shared journey will take you? **Transform the everyday with us!** **In this role you will work onsite in our Jefferson City, TN location.** **Position Overview** The candidate will design and develop hardware for embedded microcontrollers as part of input / output devices used in industrial control products. The Hardware Engineer will work with the hardware and firmware development teams to engineer the behavior described in the feature specification for the device. **Responsibilities** **Perform complexembedded firmware design and development tasks.** + Participates in the development of electronic hardwarefor embedded controllers and input / output devices used in industrialcontrol products. + The engineer will analyze, test, verify, troubleshoot,and support implemented electronic hardware solutions. Review and createprocess documents and design documents, supporting both existing designs(updates and redesigns) and potential new designs. + The engineer works on a team that is responsible forthe lifecycle of automation control equipment (PLC). Such activitiesinclude circuit design, circuit analysis, schematic entry, componentselection, developing engineering specifications, PCB design support, maintainingmanufacturability, and verification/validation through planning &testing. + The engineer will collaborate with internationalResearch & Development teams on similar products and withinternational factory teams during development and production phases. **Required Knowledge/Skills,Education, and Experience** + Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. + 0-4 years of direct experience in designing electronichardware with embedded controllers, input, and output devices. + Familiarity in the use of CAD tools for schematiccapture. Knowledgeable in the use of circuit simulation tools (SPICE). + Proficient in English both written and verbal + Legally authorized to work in the United States on acontinual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. **Preferred Qualifications** + Good work-ethics and attention to detail. Excellentverbal and written communication skills.
