Hardware Design Engineer
Company Overview

Our client is a fast-growing robotics and automation company based in Bangalore, developing intelligent consumer and industrial robotic solutions that blend hardware precision with software intelligence.
We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer who will play a pivotal role in designing and developing the electronic systems that power these next-generation robots.

Position: Hardware Design Engineer

Location: Bangalore, India (Work from Office)
Experience: 3–8 years
Compensation: Up to ₹20 LPA (based on experience and expertise)
Industry: Robotics / Consumer Electronics / IoT

Role Overview

As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic hardware systems — including analog and digital circuits, PCB layouts, and embedded hardware interfaces — for robotic and smart device applications.
This is a core electrical/electronic design role, not an industrial or enclosure design position.

Key Responsibilities

Design, simulate, and validate analog and digital electronic circuits for robotic applications.

Develop and review schematic and PCB layouts ensuring optimal performance, signal integrity, and manufacturability.

Work on power electronics, microprocessor/microcontroller-based designs, and communication interfaces (CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, etc.).

Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC compliance, safety, and reliability standards.

Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and production teams to ensure smooth hardware-software integration.

Conduct design reviews, component selection, and debugging of prototypes and production units.

Create and maintain design documentation, BOMs, and test procedures.

Required Skills & Expertise

Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design and PCB layout principles.

Hands-on experience with OrCAD, Altium Designer, or PADS.

Understanding of EMI/EMC, signal integrity, power electronics, and mixed-signal design.

Experience in hardware debugging, lab testing, and use of oscilloscopes and analyzers.

Familiarity with DFM/DFT practices and working with contract manufacturers.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Educational Qualifications

B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

Why Join

Work on cutting-edge robotic systems that blend innovation, intelligence, and design.

Join a collaborative environment with high technical ownership and rapid growth opportunities.

Be part of a team that’s redefining how robotics are designed, built, and experienced.

Application Details

If you’re passionate about building the brains inside robots — not just the shells — we’d love to hear from you.
