Job Description
As a Hardware Applications Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and expertise in the field of sensor hardware applications. This role requires a strong background in engineering with hands-on hardware experience, preferably within a technical customer support or applications engineering function.
ResponsibilitiesConduct troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause analysis.Read and interpret electrical schematics and printed circuit board layouts.Utilize proficiency in Python and work in both Windows and Linux environments.Employ hands-on experience with hardware and software tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers.Manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills.Work independently with minimal supervision.Engage in problem-solving and customer support, addressing customer inquiries effectively.Deliver presentations and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.Essential Skills2-3 years of experience in an engineering role with hands-on hardware experience.Strong analytical abilities, including troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause analysis.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and printed circuit board layouts.Proficiency in Python with experience in both Windows and Linux environments.Hands-on experience with hardware tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.US Citizenship is required.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.Familiarity with image sensors and processing techniques.Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts.Experience with at least one additional object-oriented programming language.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.86 - $62.50/hr.
