Job Description

We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Handyman to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our facilities maintenance operations, ensuring that all properties, guest spaces, and common areas are maintained to the highest standards. As a Handyman, you'll take pride in delivering exceptional workmanship while maintaining strong relationships with clients and team members. Your expertise in multiple trades, combined with your problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, will make you an invaluable asset to our organization.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, and painting systems across assigned areas, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standardsRespond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders, following established procedures and prioritizing tasks efficientlyInspect guest rooms, common areas, and facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and address issues proactivelyExecute repairs and maintenance tasks with precision, leaving all spaces clean, organized, and in perfect working condition upon completionMaintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including materials used and time spent on each taskCollaborate with supervisors and team members to coordinate complex projects and share knowledge across the maintenance departmentTroubleshoot equipment and systems, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions in a timely mannerEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes while performing dutiesAdapt flexibly to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as needed to support organizational goalsMaintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times, wearing appropriate uniforms and identification while on dutyCommunicate effectively with clients and colleagues, providing updates on maintenance progress and addressing concerns with empathy and transparency

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent educationMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and repair, construction, or a related fieldDemonstrated proficiency in electrical work, plumbing, and paintingStrong knowledge of construction principles, safety protocols, and building maintenance standardsProven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentExcellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasksStrong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking to diagnose and resolve maintenance issuesPhysical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditionsProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipmentExceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanshipStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindsetFlexibility and willingness to adapt to new challenges and learn additional skillsValid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)Familiarity with maintenance management systems or software (preferred)
