Hours: 1st Shift 6:30am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday
Wage: $23+/hr based on skillset
A Ventrac hand welder will set up, operate, and/or tend hand-welding machines to produce weldments. This person must pay high attention to detail and work under limited supervision. They must efficiently perform hand welding. This job involves collaborating with other team members to help meet department goals and objectives.
Position Responsibilities:
Read and conform to schematics, drawings and other work instructionsSet up jobs by selecting appropriate fixtures, weld patterns, components, programs, tooling, etc. Operate welding equipment and tune to optimize the welding process for quality and efficiency
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent school with relevant work experience Minimum 1-3 years of welding training/experienceMaintain high safety standards and be able to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift at least 40 lbs. regularly and bend, squat, walk or stand for extended periods of timeAbility to pass a welding test
Preferred Qualifications:
