Job Description:

The Third Shift Hand Painter is responsible for applying coating to metal parts using a brush, ensuring a consistent and precise application to meet preparation standards before metal treatment processes such as curing or heat treating. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail and a steady hand.

Responsibilities:

Apply paint and coatings to metal components using hand brushes.Ensure even application and coverage according to specifications. Inspect parts for cleanliness and surface defects prior to painting.Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety and quality procedures at all times.Communicate any issues or defects to the shift supervisor.Assist with preparation and masking as needed

Education: No formal education required.

Physical:

Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.  Comfortable working in an industrial/production environment

Skills:

Prior experience in hand painting, finishing, or similar role preferred.Ability to work overnight/third shift hours.Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to read and understand work instructions and coating specifications
