Our onsite Hair Stylist is a great perk UWM offers to make our that we offer in-house to make our Team Members lives easier. You will be highly focused on working in the salon but also have the benefit of getting to know our diverse teams within UWM as well as work with our Benefits Team to assist with the team’s ever-growing needs around Wellness. Responsibilities usually vary widely, keeping every day exciting. Generally, you can expect to work 40 hours per week, occasional evening/weekend hours might be required.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Planning, organizing, ordering styling supplies, and serving our Team Member’s salon needsMaintaining the salon schedule along with wellness related schedules, records, and reportsWorking in partnership with the Benefits and Wellness Team to develop exciting promotions for our Team Members within the Salon Maintaining a clean and vibrant space Overseeing fitness and recreation areas, ensuring safe and clean facilities and equipment if neededDelivering elite client service to all clients and team membersOutgoing personality, love for people and a strong health & wellness advocate!Multitasking and organizational skills are a mustA creative optimistic mindWelcome to change and embrace diversity WHAT WE NEED FROM YOUMust Have Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in hair stylingCosmetology and/or barbering license that is up to dateExperience using different types of scissors, trimmers, and other tools to create hairstyles for all types of hairAn understanding of the different types of hairstyles a person can request and the ability to achieve their desired outcomeExperience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Barber, or similar roleUp to date with industry trendsFlexibility to work in shiftsThe ability to communicate with clients and provide the best service possibleOpen to change and embraces itAbility to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds THE PLACE & THE PERKSReady to join thousands of talented team members who are making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans?
