Guidewire Software Architect
Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Software Architect with Guidewire experience to join a project team for one of our clients in the insurance sector.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Participate in the design of solutions on the Guidewire platform (Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire ClaimCenter, Guidewire BillingCenter, Guidewire Contact Manager);

Analyze situations and support stakeholders in decision-making;

Identify risks and potential challenges associated with proposed solutions;

Assess the features of the Guidewire Cloud platform;

Evaluate its capabilities against business requirements;

Contribute to the definition of best practices and architectural standards within Guidewire;

Lead architecture reviews to ensure compliance with established guidelines;

Produce architecture designs and ensure proper technical documentation;

Align architecture evolution in collaboration with architecture governance bodies;

Collaborate with product, business, and infrastructure teams to successfully deliver projects;

Provide technical and methodological guidance to team members;

Act as a reference point for all requests related to orientation, evolution, standards and best practices, and needs for management or support tools.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, including at least 6 years in a similar role;

Strong expertise in Guidewire Cloud products, particularly PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter;

Strong asset: Guidewire ACE (Mammoth) certification;

Excellent understanding of software architectures and API integrations;

Demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills;

Ability to manage complex initiatives (development, infrastructure, security);

Strong complex problem-solving skills.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000–$135,000. This role is an existing vacancy / a future opportunity.
