Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with business users to understand and gather requirements.
• Document business processes and create detailed specifications for system enhancements.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Guidewire Policy Center solutions.
• Perform gap analysis to compare current system states with desired future states.
• Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure requirements are met.
• Provide subject-matter expertise on claims processing and Guidewire Policy Center functionality.
• Support the integration of Guidewire Policy Center with other systems for reporting and data management.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise with the system.
Must-Have Skills:
• 7+ years of total experience, with at least 5+ years as a Business Analyst in Guidewire Policy Center.
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain concepts — Policy, Rating, Underwriting, Coverage, Risk, and Transactions.
• Solid knowledge of Policy Center modules, product model, and rating engine.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments and using tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Good-to-Have Skills:
• Guidewire BC/CC Configuration Knowledge.
